This gala is dedicated to the memory of my brother and cousin, Lil Tyrone — taken too soon by gun violence. His light is the flame that started this work. Every candle on every table this evening is lit for him, and for every family carrying the same ache.
His birthday — June 12 — falls one day before our gala. We light the first candle in his honor.

Funds raised support housing vouchers, grief counseling, and violence-interruption programs across Prince George's County.

Counseling and community circles for survivors and grieving families.

Mentorship and violence interruption programs for at-risk youth.
