Our Story
Faith. Housing. Healing.
Jesus Works Housing Voucher Program was born from grief and built on grace — a faith-rooted response to gun violence and housing insecurity in our community.

In honor of Lil Tyrone
June 12, 1985 — December 29, 2002
Lil Tyrone — my brother and cousin — was taken from us by gun violence at just 17. The pain of that loss became the fire behind this mission: to make sure no other family loses their home, their hope, or their loved one to the same cycle.
Today we provide housing vouchers to families in crisis, fund grief counseling for survivors, and support street outreach workers who interrupt violence before it begins.

Founder & Executive Director
After losing Lil Tyrone to gun violence, I made a promise that his light would not go out with him. Jesus Works Housing Voucher Program is the answer to that promise — a ministry of housing, healing, and hope for families walking the same road our family walked.
Every candle we light, every door we open, every neighbor we house — it is all in his memory, and in honor of every life this community has lost.

Our Pillars
Honor
We honor every life lost — naming, remembering, and refusing silence.
House
We move families from instability into safe, dignified homes.
Heal
We invest in counseling, mentorship, and community restoration.
